Fill mechanism - Siamp monaco?

The cistern fills by squirting the water UPWARDS out of the valve, which means water leaks out of the casing and onto the floor. Any ideas?

You may also have a bit missing, Most fillers, have outlet at top, but a pipe to turn it down, double elbow type.

Turn the mechanism the other way up. Should fill down over, not up. Fitted wrong, Might need to take of float etc and reposition.
