help please my 2000 v reg fiat brava 1.9 jtd wont go into gear when the engine is running, i was told it was the gear linkage i have tied it several times and it seemed to work for a while but then came off again. i have tried to contact fiat and they said they do not have the part can anyone help

Difficult to believe a main dealer can't obtain the part. Try a scrapyard - not just your local one.

I have obtained spares from abroad before - there'll be lots of Fiat spares in Italy. Use the internet / eBay to search for the part that you want.
