Stairlift arrived on the back of a tranny pickup and got banged and bumped about by fitters, so carbon brush is a possibility. "Engineer" managed to screw up the soft limit switches. So much for recommendations! I have to fix it myself. Got 33.3 v, but can't get to the cover on the carbon brush(too close to the wall) Could I get the chair off somehow to check it?, and how do I check the limit switches are working? Many thanks.
