How can I fix my Ryobi ECS2040 Chainsaw clutch?

Ryobi ECS2040 Electric Chainsaw.: The electrics on my chainsaw are fine, but when I press the trigger to operate the saw, the clutch immediately disengages, that is, the chain will not drive with any load on it.

Same for me! I disassembled and found that the internal nylon gear (which is driven by the motor pinion) was stripped. That is, teeth gone! Tried to order spare 'Gear Assembly' through www.toolspareparts.com.au but no stock. Will try overseas sources, but maybe hard since ECS2040 is a few years old.
