transit servicing?

hi,is it common that after servicing a ford transit 53 reg i.e fuel,oil etc that it can take a couple of seconds longer to start,cheers

No it's not normal, might still have a little bit of air in the fuel system .
You can try and bleed the fuel system a little more or you can just leave it for a few days and it will probably come good by itself.
I've seen some strange things with using the wrong oil.
If the oil is to thick it might not let the lifters bleed down properly causing the valves not to close fast enough.
If this is the problem the engine rpms will be running higher than normal at idle.

check the fuel filter has been fitted correctly and there isn't any air leaks
