my alarm kept going off on my toyota hilux 3.0d 2007.i disconected the battery for the weekend.
after reconnecting nothing works and i have desplayed on the screen "insert correct disc" i have loaded the dvd navigation map back in but nothing changes.no radio/cd/or sat nav

Your radio is NOT looking for a code. You have a serious fault which can only be rectified by a professional . The unit must first recognise the sat nav before the rest of it will work. I know this unit very well and have repaired this fault many times.

not sure about the satnav part,, but you might need to enter the radio codes for the model of radio you have to get it working again, its normal if you disconect the battery , that the radio wont work when you reconnect it again, in case its stolen,, the satnave may be the same looking for pin /code number.. check your manual on them,
