spin cycle?

i have a tricity bendix AW1053W front load washer, it will wash and drain correctly but it will not spin, the drum rotates both ways as if attempting to spin but its wont, i replaced the bushes approx 3 mths ago and checked the drain outlets ect but still wont spin pls help

i have a tricity bendix aw1260s front loading washing machine that was working fine but for some reason has stopped , it drains and emptys but wont spin , all lights work and come on it fills up and all that stuff , but just wont do the wash cycle .

try removing the back,its a bit hard to reach the heating element from the top,and as its a tricty bendix(hotpoint)the element may be at the front of the machine.remove the plug from the mains socket before doing any repairs

check space between inner /outer drum for obstructions , usually a sock . using a inspection light slowly rotate drum whilst looking through drum holes and see if you can see anything .another thing to check is to see if anything is tangled around heating element,to remove element follow these steps= remove wm top locate element ,loosen securing nut ,do not fully remove,gently tap nut,stud inwards to release from back plate .wiggle element whilst pulling ,all will be revealed .good luck.
