HOW DO I FIX MY VAUXHALL ASTRA?

The remote central locking on my 2001 Vauxhall Astra G isn't working, I have replaced the battery in the key and all fuses/relays appear to be working yet still no joy. Is there any other way to get this working?

Not quite. Turn the ignition on but not the engine and within 2 secs press both buttons simultaneously a number of times. This will lock / unlock the doors and reaffirms the lock code in the key. Common problem and solution is in the manual.

Put the key into the ignition, turn it once, click the remote button once to close, then click open. Hopefully this should set it. Let me know how you get on!
