how to shut off the beeping alarm on my refrigerator?

the digital temp flashes 4 and the alarm beeps every 5 min.
how can i shut off the alarm until a tech can fix the refrigerator ?
It will be five days before a tech can come, and the beeping is makeing my wife crazyer than she already is.
HELP!
