fault with my sony dsc h55?

the camera is draining the batteries and it used to switch it self off after non-use,no longer the case now as it stays on.also when i plug leads into tv the picture is grainy.think i got the bottom of the camera got to close to the sea.

any ideas please

problem solved.it seems that the 2 batteries i bought off ebay are duff.works fine with the original one.
