"TEST" error on hotpoint WF860 washer?

My washer keeps coming up with the word test...it goes through the motions, and then still does nothing. The machine itself seems fine..no blockages etc. Seems to be a "computer" glitch, but don't know how to by-pass it. Any advice gratefully received!!
