Beko D3422FW Dishwasher Not Stopping?

Hi,
My Beko D3422FW Dishwasher has decided not to stop. The cleaning cycle works fine. I'm reluctant to spend £60 on a new timer unless I know that's the problem. I had to fit a new rope hinge and noticed a pipe from the drainage blocked with scale. This I cleaned out. Since then this new problem has turned up. Is it connected??
Please hep me as this is not a good time to buy a new machine.
Thanks

Its the mechanical switch. It opens up in sections. As the dial turns it triggers the switches. I cleaned the contact points added solder to the worn copper plate that moves from a to b and voilà. Works a treat

I unblocked a pipe which I think was marked pressure switch?? I had a small amout of water before left in the bottom of the machine but now it's all nice and clear. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your prompt reply

is there water in the base?
lay dishwasher on its BACK ONLY and see if water comes out.if it does you have a leak or blockage
