my lg washer/dryer drum only turns anti clockwise in wash cycle?

I have just had an enginneer out to fix my washer (lg f1403rd, one year old) but it still has the same fault.
when in the wash cycle the drum only turns anti clockwise, the drum only rocks when trying to turn clockwise and it makes a rumbling noise. any help please
