mobile suddenly says limited service ?

My Samsung mobile suddenly says limited service/emergency calls only ?
I took it to a phone repair shop, and to my surprise he put the sim in and the battery, and it was fine ! but I came home again and its the same again(limited Service) can anyone figure it out, tell me how to fix ?????
