As your drive should use the NTFS file system, the risk of corrupted files is almost non-existant. Most error will self correct after a few minutes of normal use.
If a light blue check disk screen show, let it proceed and wait for the test to finish. The boot process will continue after the check is finished.

As SD told you, use the F8 key to start in safe mode, but you probably don't need to do so.

If it boots normally whats the problem, if it does not boot normal, follow onscreen promts, use arrow keys to highlight option required
