I am trying to install a JVC KD-S6060 radio cd into my renault Clio 1.4 RT "T" reg. However when I removed my old radio casette and plugged in my new kit, the car would not start. Very strange. I unplugged the JVC unit and tried again car started ok. Can anyone give me some advice on what the problem may be. Looks like some electrical problem.

Also the arial connection looks a bit different.

Any help really appreciated.

I have put the same headunit into a car for a customer but i did not have any problems, without looking at the car myself I would say it will be something to do with the wiring harness you might need to change the wires around, but as i said this will not be very actuate because i am not looking at the car, if you can give me some more detail i may be able to help you
