unfortunatly NO you need this box for the screen to display anything. you can not even connect the screen to pc, remember the connection between the box and the screen is not vga,dvi nor HMDi.
your best option to find one on those web auctions like ebay, however be careful as these units can have power problem and this problem it only shows when the box is connected to the screen( that is the unit will switch on for few minutes then starts swiching off/on repeatedly
