Hi, I have a ravenheat HE85AAAT natural gas boiler, it fires up for a few seconds then cuts out then fire up and cuts out and so on, if I turn the hot tap on it works fine I then switch it to ch and it'll run till it get to temp, when it tries to reignite it does the on off thing again!!!! I phoned ravenheat and the bloke said it was my modulation fan board could this be true !!!! Any ideas please help

Probably is, They know their boilers. From what you say, call for hw, fan will run full, call for heating fan will run full, after that the fan speed is varied. So if no control, the boiler will complain, so as he said.
