Can I replace the "antenna in jack" myself? I have the part?

I purchased a new "antenna in jack" for my Sylvania television, as I snapped the connector off. Can I replace this jack myself? It's connected to a "control panel"/mother board looking computer card. I'm not sure I can remove the old jack from the board myself.

It depends on how good your soldering skills are. I suspect that they are not very good at all as you don't know how to remove the old socket from the board. Second the inside of a TV set is a very dangerous place if you don't know what you are doing. There are potentially lethal voltages in there. I suggest you get some one to do it for you.
