sorry colin forgot to ask,is the f/f showing any error codes, eg e8, and how long has it been since you changed the water filter.

faulty valve/sensor or more commonly a blockage in the line feed.all these parts can be purchased from leisure or beko.cheap and easily replaced.I say beko because the model has been rebranded leisure.
