could anyone tell me were the damper temp control mechanism is on the unit, i gather it will be at the back of the unit somewhere, how hard is it to replace.

hi,john why don't you stick to one posting, its starting to get a little confusing now,am I right in thinking that the fridge compartment is freezing up?,and everything else is ok,eg,fan running,no build up of ice on the evaporation panel, and the display is showing H.????.look inside the fridge compartment on the rear wall, you will see a vent.remove the vent and you will see two square holes, one will have the damper fitted to it.its a motor controlled damper with a shut off flap on it.this flap should be CLOSED to stop the cold air from the freezer section entering the fridge compartment.post back on here if the valve is closed.if its open then that's the problem.
