DRM stands for digital rights management which means the file format you are trying to play on the player is protected....you should be using non-DRM mp3 files...rip these from your CDs using WMP or similar or if it's music you've bought online, search for a convertor for whatever particular DRM file-type it is and convert that to mp3.
The player doesn't like DRM files.
