My Maytag heavy duty Dryer smells hot when I am using it?
My Dryer smells like something hot when I use it. I reasonally moved to a different house. It has all new breakers and such. So what could the problem be.
You have to have airflow over the coil. It maybe lint built up in the exhaust or in the intake. Check the output outside and see what the airflow is. And does it take a long time to dry the clothes? I suspect that the vent hose is full of lint and needs to be cleaned out.
