Not really any settings, , But not fully used to the model, so general. Only setting usually is the clock, which I assume that you have reset, other wise usually, you would not be able to get it to light, The full flame is controlled by a thermal unit above the flame, when it senses flame on, it will as it heats up open the valve for main flame, nothing electronic about it. So as long as you have set the clock, Faulty unit.
