How can I fix the grill on my Cannon Camberley 1010G cooker?

Since using the top oven at Christmas I cannot get the knob to turn clockwise onto the grill setting, but it will still turn anticlockwise for the top oven setting so now I can't use the grill. Any ideas how to fix it?
