How can I get my washing machine to work? ?

my (hotpoint) washing machine has given up the ghost. It makes the usual click when I press the start button (to wash) but then nothing. it seems that no water is getting through. please can anybody help?

the water inlet valve is not shut back of washing machine? if ok
water electrical inlet valve is at faulty open top cover ,its next to water inlet

Hard to say what the fault is here.You didn't state whether there is any dash lights.you are going to need a engineer to troubleshoot the machine. Iam thinking it could be the door interlock,but other possibilities are either front or back pcb or selector module.
