Beko WMA520W - a smell of burning rubber when spinning?

i have a BEKO WMA520W washing maching. When spinning there appears to be a strong smell of burning rubber. Can someone help? Thanks

common fault.where the stainless steel inner drum meets the edge of the grey door gasket they rub together creating the burning smell,.Take a look at the stainless drum edge you will find rubber stuck to it and a groove worn into the back side of the door gasket.there is a redesigned door gasket available but once it wears in to the old door gasket it will be ok.clean the rubber of the stainless drum using a wooden peg or something that cannot scratch or mark the drum.Just check now and then for further rubbing.Probably be ok from now on as the machine is now bedded in.
