I'm getting no power reading at all on the machine. The outlet is fine, the cord looks fine, but when I press down on the door switch, I'm not hearing any "click". Anything else I should check before taking it out to the curb?
unfortunately. If you are certain the unit is getting power, then the main board under the console is shorted and needs to be replaced. The board often goes bad on this model and the cost is about $200 for the part. Fisher and Paykel is the only authorized distributer for thier own parts so you will need to contact them if you'd like to order the board.

Is this an F&P smartdrive top loading washing machine? Do you have a voltage test meter and know how to use it? What do you mean by the door switch?
