electrical cord?

The electrial core seems to be the problem, can I repair or replace it, the kettle sometimes does not turn on. Its a Russell Hobbs kettle with a fixed cord coming from the back and with a automatic cut of switch.

nope.this brand of kettle is a pain,the base has two pins that engage the element pins,you cant buy the base for it,they sell you new kettle they dont sell base sep
