Need to take the top off the cistern. The dual flush butons clearly have to be removed to allow the top to lift but I cannot turn the button suround plate and there is very litle to grip onto - I assume it unscrews anti-clockwise, not clockwise. Any ideas please.
Press the button that flushes the toilet grip tightly to the ring inside the button, and turn anticlockwise and the ring should unscrew pull the button out then lift the ring the lid should come off
