What is wrong and how do I fix my usa style fridge freezer. The light is flashing on the FREEZER side at -18 which is what it was set at but the temp inside the freezer is warm and all food has defrosted and the fridge is warm inside too. It is out of warrenty and I only had a part replaced only a few months ago similar to a grill looking thing poss defrost heater, I am in Spain and it was extremly expensive to get a samsung engineer out so my hubby may be able to do it. help.

they have a particular fault where they just stop working,
the way to tell if its this fault is - when the appliance stops working

ie the lights are on but its not making a noise , unplug the appliance of for 30 seconds and then plug back in , if it starts working again for say about 4-5 hours then you can fix this with the srs repair kit ,

it will fit any srs model

you also get fridge cooling problems with srs models , same kit will fix .

this gut supplys them and gives advice on fitting etc , very helpfull - we got him from searching the google etc and every one said to contact him
