the brush belt has always been seemed to long, i have padded out the groove in the brush with some sucess but feel it is incorrectly installed (vax stated the belt was streached one week after purchasing the cleaner so ive never asked them anything else as an elephant could not streach tis fabric type belt . the tightening lever operates but inefectively
