My kitchen window is locked and the square nut the handle goes into in the window is broken, do I have to replace the window or can the lock be replaced, how do you get to the lock if it is shut?
You can fit new lock when open, I don't know where this sq. nut is. Try screwdriver blade in hole & turn or remove glass to gain more movement on sash.
