I have an Indesit wd12x and the knob keeps going round and round. I can not seem to make it stop. I tried everything. It flashes 13 times. Also the water pump makes a weird noise but it spins. No blocks in there. I removed the filter and I can see it work.

13 flashes could indicate the thermister on the top of the drum has a problem. The most common problem is a break in the wire going to it (due to vibration).
