do i need to reinstall Yahoo Mail for contacts to appear in the 'To' slot?

When addressing an email in Yahoo Mail, & type a letter in the 'To' slot... or cc or bcc, etc.,... a list of contacts no longer appears.

Looks like the auto-complete feature have been turned off by accident.

You very probably don't need to reinstall, just open the configuration or preferances and re-enable the auto-complete addresses feature.
