Dasboard warning lights on Renault Trafic 1.9dci 2005?

I've recently purchased the van and after driving it for a few miles the "Serv" light and "air bag" light comes on. In the hand book it says that the van might be low of oil, but once checking the dip, the levels seem good? can someone please put my mind at rest and give me a call on 07506439748 to let me know that i've not been mugged off and bought a lemon. cheers

go to a good quality garage the SERV light on a Renault is the MIL light so the vehicle has an engine emissions fault, the airbag light is not a panic to get sorted at the moment but will need to be fixed for your next mot if it after the 4th April 2012 as it then becomes a failure point on the test.

You need to get it connected to a reader, to find out fault. You can get obd readers from ebay, that will connect to a laptop, or a dedicated one that will give you the code, also available at places like Halford etc.
