clutch, brake maytag a612?

replaced clutch, brake unit now it smokes when it comes to spin cycle. tub does not spin. it agitates though.

you must read instructions when replacing cluth or brake,most time the clearance between stopbolt and drive should be 2mm when agitator is released.go on maytag service manual site got some nice videos there
