how can i repair my amish fireplace/heater?

our little electric heat surge fireplace has quit working. i push the reset button and it works for a minute or so and then clicks off again. what is the problem?

after one year of my amish heater being in storage I am now using my heater. I replaced the batteries in remote and plugged in power cord. I have one blinking red light on the power button. When using the remote nothing is working. Any suggestions?

If the problem is that the fan works but no heat, it means the circuit breaker in heater unit may have opened. This can be due to overheating due to dust clogging air flow or dus t shortin g out heating coil. If no fan and no heat can be in the low voltage circuit. Check heater coils first.
