Sounds like the drive pin has snapped off or become disconnected in some way. they can be replaced but it depends on your level of expertise and available toolsFrom your question it sounds as though you need expert or at least competent help. Sorry I can'tdo much more. Oh a thought just struck me. You might be able to purchase new parts AND FIT THEM . Makes things abit easier.

First SAFETY .always unplug don't just switch off when carrying out blade change/repairs/tests and push stick thats why I still have 8 fingers and two thumbs.

I've got same my blade came loose the nut loosend so shaft turning but blade wasn't. Remember round hole round collar with lip to fit in to blade hold in place fit nut watch blade hasn't dropped off the collar.

UNPLUG the saw. Remove the blade and any loose collars.

Plug back in Keep hands clear run motor see if the shaft turns. If it doesn't then drive or gear broke.
Contact Ryobi for nearest service centre.

If it turns fast UNPLUG again and try turning the spindle if you can't it may just be the blade was not seated and nut not tight. Ensure blade is on shaft correctly holding blade against the collar as you turn nut to blade finger tight then the spanners. don't over tighten the nut, firm but don't go heavy.
