Our diplomat slimline dishwasher would just keep going and going, had to stop it and turn it off then make it drain. I don't think the water was heating up and nothing was really getting clean. Then it wouldn't work at all, just made a droning noise. Haven't used it for a couple of months and now it has started working again, though still don't think it's getting hot. Possibly the heating element? Can you buy these and replace them yourself?

find a friend that know how to work with elecricity and ask him to put direct power on heater,sure way to see if heater work.i suggest you change thermostat first if you cant find a good electrician to test heater
