the washing machine isnt heating at all. All washes are running on cold. i have tried all heat cycles and all are running cold. The damp clothes at the end are stone cold when removed from the drum. The clothes seem to be clean after drying but i do like to run some items at a high temperature wash.

Is this an easy fix or is it a sign of a new washing machine on the horizon.

Time to get the multimeter out, and meter the heating element and associated components.
Check for open circuits,start with the heating element,

the most common failure on that model is the heater relay/pcb,especially if the machine isn't aborting during cycles,

remimber to ISOLATE the power before you start your investigation.
