zanussi washing machine fx465w '5 flashes & 5 beeps'and stops working
this problem has started only in the last few days. able to stop machine and start it on another programme eg. rinse or drain

This would indicate a motor circuit fault. Error code E50.

First thing to check would be the motors wiring and connector for security ,

make sure there are no broken wires.


Next, take the motor out and check to see if the carbon brushes have worn down to 10mm or less,

if the brushes x2 are worn then replace them,
