Beko washing machine over filling?

have a Beko washing machine in my holiday home in france, friends that were out at house said when they went to use machine the drum fills with water but keeps filling until water starts to pour out the soap drawer? any ideas folks! machine is about 5 years old but prob only been used 20-30 times.

if the machine stops filling when you either stop/pause or pull the power plug it isn't the water inlet valve,.

Check the pressure switch especially the tube which connects onto the switch from the drum,

sometimes this tube gets blocked,pull the tube off the switch and blow down it,

adding too much detergent can cause this issue,

the pressure swich is accessible by removing the top of the appliance,

its on the right rear hand side,and looks like a cylinder about 3 inches long.

one end has wires the other has the tube,if the tube isn't blocked,then check the wiring connector for security.

Failing that then replace the switch.

the solenoid water valve, is gone, if its not knocking the water off , thats if the drum if filling up, but if its only the power draw that is blocked then thats different,? you can get one of the valves on ebay for that model..
