I have a Zanussi ZWF1211W Machine. The other day it stopped without draining. I had to manually drain it. The it kept thinking the door was locked so I removed the bit on the inside of the front panel that the door lock goes into and when I went to put it back in the bit inside had dropped down inside the machine. Now it will not screw back. I have tried to reset the machine by holding the start/pause button and the button next to it and clicking the dial one click at the time all the lights then flash in sequence all the way to end. When I then try and start the machine it goes to spinning and start/pause flashes I press start and it goes to washing then after a few seconds jumps straight to end. The end light flashes in a sequence of four flashes at a time??

Can anyone help.

is the door lock mounted to the front cabinet with the 2 screws now?
4 flashes is a door interlock error code .remove the door interlock by removing the front band from the door gasket rubber to gain access.if there is a brown mark in the center of the door lock it could be a faulty door lock Or a faulty door lock that has blown the main PCB which is common!

from reading your post it looks like you have not put the door interlock back together, you need to undo the front edge of the door gasket off the front panel and get your hand inside the panel locate the interlock and screw it back into its position,as the machine wont start without the door activating this switch. make sure the machine is unplugged before attempting this repair
