What setting should the dial on the bobbin l rotary hook. Pg 8 diadram 5 of the original book. Has a screw showing. This screw is dial dial marked 0-3. Machine won't sew and keeps wrapping cCotton around rotary hook and jammbing. Is this setting the issue. Tried all.

this machine is very sensitive for cotton wrapped around the hook and between tension spring.on left side of hook is a small screw with cam and a high part on it.make sure their is no cotton stuck in tension spring and thread cotton normal way,bobbin thru tension plate.if you turn screw towards high area tension should increase but if you look carefully you will see the plus or minus sign.if there is no diff in tension while pulling cotton and adjusting screw,look again at dirt at tension spring. if you know how to do timing you can remove middle screw on hook and remove tension spring but otherwise try and loosen the very small screw on tension spring and clean properly.is not the most friendliest diy machine if you have to do this kind of job
