How can I fix my bosch wft2800 washer dryer?

I have a bosch wft2800 washer dryer almost 6 yrs old. When I put it on it will start ok, sometimes it will shut down then start up again, but when it gets to the end of the wash cycle the programme will freeze it will not go to the rinse. I have to pysicaly turn it off and on again then it will go again. Some one told me it sounds like a blockage but it pumps ok. It spins ok when I put it on these cycles on their own, but it will not complete the whole programme from start to finish without stopping.

syd,

Your hints helped me fix the machine and saved me £££.

Thanks so much

Thanks to Syd and Foxey. I had same problem of poor solder and track at back of relay. Resoldered and machine working again. All plugs on board photographed before removal and then removed. Two direct soldered wires to board left in place but had enough slack to move board to get access to poor joint.
Then, as they say, reassembly is reverse of dismantling.
Thanks again, it saved me buying a new washing machine.

regarding not emptying the water.please check your outlet water pump,it may be blocked.
you have to remove the bottom panel .there is a filter trap for coins, clips etc...
please also note ,excess water may drain out when opening filter or pump hose.

I had the same problem with the bosch wft2800 washer dryer recently.its about 8 years old
freezing on the programme cycles.
clicking noises in the background .
i found the fault was on the power module board located next to the motor .
after removing the board carefully.i inspected the board and found one of the soldered relay legs was dry jointed .i then cleaned the connection and resoldered the relay .also futher inspection of the board revealed more bad solder dry joints forming on all the other relays.i resoldered these as well.the last thing you want is stripping the w/machine again for the same fault a few months later!!
(shrack relay 10amp 12v-240v)
once put back together it worked perfectly.
to buy a new power module cost is £240++(worth the stripdown for a diy repair)

another fault i had after 3 years of ownership of the washer.
blowing mains fuses/tripping rcd circuit.washer dead.
cause was the interference suppressor .there are two,the bigger one was faulty.
bosch part number, 09 4567

i hope the above info helps anybody with same problems i had .
as with any electrical items before opening the machine.MAINS POWER OFF !!. ELECTRICITY KILLS !!!
if you do not have the repair ability.get a QUALIFIED ENGINEER to do the job.

Hi,

I have a similar problem. Did you get a fix or buy a new machine ?

Thanks

I had exactly the same fault. The cure on mine was to resolder a burnt connector/track on one of the large relays on the programmer circuit board. The relay is the one nearest the back of the machine.
