My Viera model LXD700 sometimes jumps from watching an HD Sky Box recording on the AV setting, to the TV setting and whatever non-Sky programme is being shown.

Meanwhile the recording keeps running on the Sky Box.

The TV has to be switched off and re-started before it will respond to the TV remote.
