I have a Bosch Avantixx, in which i only brought 6 months ago, for the last week it hasnt been draining, today i took out with bit at the bottom where it drains thinking that was blocked only to find that there was a white plastic piece in the bottom near the pump, ive looked to see where it could come from but i'm having no success, has this happened to anyone else? can i possibly fix it at home or do i need to call out an engineer?

It sounds like the pump inspection cover has come off. If the part you found was down in the sump of the machine and it is like a quarter of a circle with a little leg sticking up then it fits in the bottom of the sump on the left over the pump impellor, the leg if it is not broken locks it into place.If this doesnt make sense come back with model no (etched on top of stainless steel door) and more info Cheers
