Kenwoods are very good, Might need a clean and re grease etc inside, due to its age. Unfortunately if you take it to some one to do, will cost more than it is worth, Do it yourself, or if you know someone. Personaly, I would love to fix it for you. The older machines are much better built than the cheap things on the market now. The burning smell, wil probably be from the motor over heating. the grease on the gears etc could do with replacing. Maximum fault, motor faulty, BUT probably not available, Pity as they were made to last. Just wish I could of afforded one then. IF you live NE uk, reply until I reply, I will fix at Cost of parts, For the experience. I enjoy fixing m/c's. especially the older ones. pleasure to work on them.
