My bosch excell 1600 washing machine wont spin, it has washed the clothes but they are still quite wet. What could it be?

Try the spin only cycle with the drum empty Michele, if it spins perfectly ok then it couldnt balance your last load so cancelled the spin. If it doesnt spin but you can hear an occasional click from the facia the the carbon brushes are worn out in the motor. Other possibility :- filter or connection to sink partially blocked machine taking too long to drain leaving no time to left to spin. Cheers
